Hi, my name is John Lopez, born and raised here in San Antonio and don't plan on ever leaving. I have been tattooing for 15 years now. I started tattooing when I was 16 years old and never looked back. Being an artist is more than just a career to me, it's my passion. Every piece I do comes from my heart. I come from a family of artists and musicians, so I have always been influenced to be creative, expressive, and to use my imagination. I really like to work with color in my tattoos and designs, and I love something bold that will stand out. I also love small details and I love doing art with meaning. When it comes to tattooing, I like to look at myself as a very versatile artist. I work with covers ups, tiny tattoos, bold, soft single linework, color or black and grey. I have learned so many skills and techniques from many shops and artists I've been around these past 14 years, and I love to utilize all those skills during my design and tattoo process. I prefer to have in-person consultations here at the shop so that I can ask all the necessary questions and pick at your brain a little to make the tattoo more personal, custom and significant.
